The Dragon Inn, June 1998

A single roomed recently refurbished bar that's three or four minutes walk away from Worcester Foregate Street station. It's also close to the cinema. They had 4 real ales on whilst we were there in June 1998 which included Adnams Regatta (abv 4.3%), a very refreshing, light summer ale which we enjoyed in the pub garden out the back. A visit during the colder part of the year saw the same pump issuing a very fine porter and the number of beers available had increased to 6.

A cosy pub in the winter that's narrow widthways but extends back a fair way. Good food is available on weekdays at lunchtime. Winner of the local CAMRA Pub of the Year award in 1999 and 2000 and Herefordshire and Worcestershire Pub of the Year in 2000. This is the place to drink good 'proper' beer in Worcester.
